About

Grey Wake is a narrative-driven exploration game set in a surreal seascape between life and death, a limbo of lost souls and forgotten memories.

You wake up on a desolate island with no recollection of how you arrived. The only tools at your disposal are a weathered sailboat, a telescope, a compass, and a blank map. The archipelago before you is vast, fragmented, and fading, a world where memories linger like fog and the dead wait to be remembered.

As you chart the islands, you’ll uncover pieces of your story: forgotten friendships, unspoken grief, and choices that led you here. Sail through storms, fulfill strange requests, decipher cryptic landmarks, and navigate seas that resist being tamed. With each new discovery your map fills in, and so too the gaps in your memory.

Something calls to you from beyond the horizon. Someone far away.

Features:

  • 8+ hours of gameplay across over a 40 islands. Discover all the secrets!

  • Sailing with wind physics

  • Navigate by the stars, landmarks, and your trusty compass. Figure out where you are on your own!

  • Puzzles to solve, both in and out of dream sequences

  • Charming characters, stories, and a deep history behind this unknown archipelago
